I was going to get the new touch, but saw mediocre reviews on the camera, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to get a new one (I have the ipod touch 3g). I haven't found any reviews on the Galaxy Wifi 4.0, but it looks intriguing, with its 3.2 megapixel camera and Android software. Anyone know anything about this?

Answer
i do. the Samsung galaxy player 4.0 has the ability to switch from .3,1,2,2.5, and3.2mp in the camera, has the ability to change brightness of the picture the picture, image stabilizer, auto focus, different custom settings for different scenes depending on what your taking a picture on and where, the ability to easily make a panorama, to add frames, effects like sepia water color negative and black and white, change the exposure, and image quality in a sleek easy to use interface make the Samsung galaxy players camera much more useful and just better than the iPod touches camera. (plus the galaxy players camera is 5 times the resolution of the iPod touches camera)

plus any specification the iPod has the galaxy player doubles it or in the case of graphics triples it for example (ram, screen color production and viewing angles, speakers are superb even louder than an ipad, and you should get a longer battery life )

What is the best way to re-size my digital pics to the standard sizes?

I am attempting to prepare my photos to sell online and I need to provide them in the different size formats. I am using a 7.1 megapixel camera. I need to size my files to the standard formats.

Is the some software that will do this for me for the PC? Or is there some other way to simplify this for me?

Answer
If you're looking to scale the digital photographs down (proportionally), consider the free software GIMP. I use it for making online avatars a lot.

Just load the image in gimp, go to image -> scale and then adjust from there. If you don't do it proportionally the image my get distorted.

Scaling UP, though, is a more complicated process I have no experience with, sorry!
