Can I get a low profile DSLR shoulder bag recommendation?

I'm looking for a bag to hold my Nikon D3200 with lens, and two to three additional lenses, a flash, my iPad, and someplace to store a small tripod. I like the Naneu bags but they don't have a place to store a tripod. The biggest thing is that I don't want a bag that screams, "Camera Bag!", like a lowepro or caselogic bag would. Does anyone out there have a recommendation? And can we keep it under $150?

Answer
Think Tank makes the best bags. I own several of them. Their Retrospective, Urban Disguise, Speed, or City Walker series would work well.

Of course, if you want the ultimate in incognito, you could go with Jill-e Designs (designer camera bags for women) or their associated Jack designs (for men).

As a young woman, should I bring my professional camera while traveling alone?

As a young woman, should I bring my professional camera while traveling alone?
I am 18 and have a petite frame, although athletic. I am interested in purchasing a Canon 5D Mark iii or something similar for my solo trip to Europe (Mainly england, france, belgium, and germany) and I am wondering if I will be safe enough traveling alone with a big camera around my neck. I know a lot if based on street smarts and I have quite a bit of common sense; but will people like attack me if they see my camera? This may sound crazy and ignorant, but the thought of not being safe didn't really occur to me until my mother brought it up. I am a very passionate photographer who is currently DSLR-less and in the market for one. There is not way I am going back to point and shoots. Any advice is helpful! Thanks. (Will be traveling Jan-April)

Answer
As a woman I traveled alone, with a camera around my neck part of the time. I started quite young and never felt any less than secure with the camera.
Admitted, my camera was always a cheaper one, never a professional one.

But if you that kind of person, you will not be happy doing your tour without a camera, and you already said, you will not be happy with a point and shoot, (although there are pretty good ones there.)

While your camera is expensive, most people will not see the different between one SLR or the other, and most thieves do not go for the camera of someone who is aware but more for that of someone who is distracted.
When you do not use your camera, carry it in a bag that does not scream 'Expensive camera'. Have it in a protective bag in an old battered backpack.

Do not wander through the less nice parts of the cities.

And make sure you have a good insurance and remember that the few thieves who will mug, will rather just take your camera, do not give them the excuse to hurt you by trying to defend it.
