Which digital camera should i buy? The kodak easy share z885 or the casio exilim ex-z1000?

Ok my sons birthday is June 8th and he loves recording videos and taking pictures is the flip mino good i want him to have a good camera that will last him and that he will love!!!! by the way he has a youtube channel so he makes videos like that and he loves it! Also he is 12 turning 13 whats a good camera that takes pictures and videos and is in HD is the flip mino ultra Hd good? does it take still images?
