I LOVE Uncharted little big planet and a whole lot of things on the ps3. But at the same time i love to kick back and play a good mario game as well as lots of other Nintendo games but i'm totally stumped on what i should get. 3ds or vita? Any ideas? And by the way, no fanboy type of stuff, only honest opinions.

Well I know about the 3DS.
And I can compare the Specs of the Vita & 3DS to each other.
The CPUs
3DS = 512 MHz 100% Effectively
Vita = 7XX (is said)
The GPUs
3DS = 200 MHz
Vita = 266 MHz (is said)
Now let's compare them to the Wii's GPU = 243 MHz
So the Vita gives you 100% HD Wii Graphics on its screen.
And the 3DS gives you 100% 3D HD Wii Graphics on its screen.
They both got 0.3 MegaPixel Cameras
But the 3DS has a stereoscopic 3D Camera to take 3D Pictures & Record 3D Videos.
And here's the 2D Resolution of the 2 systems:
3DS = 800
Vita = 960
And here's what I can tell you because the 3DS has already come out:
You can LOWER the VOLUME of 3D so it does NOT give you headaches for the first time in your life (if you're the kind of person to ever get headaches from 3D, otherwise just turn the 3D all the way up).
And you can also turn the 3D OFF Completely.
And 3D is good for working out your eye muscles & brain to keep them in shape as shown in this link:

And the Nintendo 3DS has downloadable 3D music videos from today's American music artist which I have already downloaded the 3 free 3D Music Videos to watch anywhere and the 3DS has 3D "Blue Man Group" video and cheap downloadable 3D Apps & 3D games costing from 99 cents to $5.99 and the Nintendo 3DS also has FREE downloadable 3D Apps & 3D Games, which I have already downloaded 3 Free 3D Apps and I have downloaded 2 Free 3D Games and the 3DS has a 3D Camera and I have already used the 3DS 3D Camera to take 3D photos & 3D Videos and I have uploaded some of my 3D footage online using the Nintendo 3DS's Web Browser to upload my 3D footage online and I have used my 3DS Web Browser to also download other peoples 3D footage from the Internet on my 3DS Web Browser and I have view all sorts of 3D content on 3D Websites online on my 3DS's Web Browser and I have use my 3DS 3D Camera to play 3D Augmented Reality games as well and it's all in 3D without the Glasses using the 3DS 3D Camera and I have beautiful 3D HD graphics that equal to that of a 3D HD version of Wii Graphics and I have Streamed 3D Videos Online on my 3DS in the eShop and I have also Watch 3D Trailers for upcoming 3D movies coming to Theaters in 3D and I have done all of this in 3D Without the Glasses.
So you can pay $169 for a Nintendo 3DS and buy the greatest Games ever & all in 3D Without the Glasses like Cave Story 3D and Kid Icarus and Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 using the MOTION SENSORS to play the game like if you were turning a real wheel to turn the Kart left & right and also play such other 8 GB 3D Games like TheatRhytem Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3D and Crush 3D and Shinobi and Animal Crossing and Rodea the Sky Soldier and Michael Jackson: the Experience 3D and Ridge Racer 3D and Super Street Fighter 4 3D and Monster Hunter 4 and Golden Sun 4 and Star Fox 3D and Zelda 3D and Sonic Generations 3D and Tetris 3D and Resident Evil: Revelations and Tekken 3D which also has the 3D Movie Tekken the Movie 3D in it to watch and also play other 8 GB 3D HD games as Spider Man 3D and 100% of the 3DS games are in HD 3D Without the Glasses.

What would be better a Nintendo 3DS or an iPad 2?

I have an ipad and I was thinking about buying the new iPad 2 for my bday present. But then I heard about the nintendo 3ds and it sounds really cool but I don't kno witch one to buy now because both of them are really impressive. So should I stick with the ipad or should I get something new and different like the 3DS? And what would be some good reasons on why to buy the iPad 2 or the 3DS.

It all depends on what you want. Both devices are different. Here are some of their features, look through them and see which one suits you best:
Nintendo 3DS pro's:
-Can display full 3D without the need for special glasses
-It can take 3D pictures! Buying a camera that does this costs a lot, but you get it built in the 3DS!
-Higher quality games than the iPad has - 3DS games will last you a lot longer than iPad games, and will most probably be more fun
-You can watch movies and TV sports in 3D!
-You can buy and download additional game content and updates from the Nintendo e-shop
-It is smaller and lighter than the iPad 2, so it is more portable
-You can browse the internet, use facebook, youtube etc. just like on your PC
-You can play games online wirelessley
-You can add people to your 'friends list' - then you can see what games they are playing, you can play with them online, and you can send text messages, drawings (which you make with the 3DS touch screen) or pictures to them
-It can play augmented reality games - these games work by you putting a small card on your table. Then, the 3DS will make a game on your table! To see what I mean, click on the link below:

-The 3DS has a much shorter battery life than the iPad 2 (it only has 3-5 hours with the 3D effect on, and 5-8 hours with the 3D effect off)
-The 3DS touch screen is very good, however it isn't as responsive and sensitive as the iPad 2's
-Adding friends to your list can be annoying as you need to exchange 12-digit number codes to do so
iPad 2 pro's:
-It has a bigger screen the the 3DS
-It has a lot of free apps, the 3DS's cost money
-You can use live video chat just like with a webcam on your PC
-It has a longer battery life (it lasts roughly 9-10 hours)
-It is capable of faster web-browsing and internet usage
-It has more built in software
-It comes with a larger 'harddrive' (it comes with 16GB - 64GB, whereas the 3DS has 2GB)
iPad 2 Cons:
-Big games like Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, Super Mario and Assassin's Creed are almost never available for the iPad, and when they are it is often a cheaper, less fun version
-The iPad 2 costs a lot more than the 3DS (it costs a minimum of £325, whereas the 3DS can be found for a minimum of £195)
-The iPad 2 takes longer to charge up once the battery has drained
-It cannont take 3D pictures or 3D video like the 3DS, and its picture resolution is also very low (0.7 megapixels)
So really, its down to what you want. If price is an issue, then go for the 3DS as it can be found for up to £125 cheaper. If its not an issue, then look at what they can do. The 3DS will offer amazing 3D without glasses, it is also one of the first machines ever to take real 3D pictures, it allows you to watch 3D movies and sports, and will have better games. However, gaming is the main feature of the 3DS. So, if you don't like to play games, or only play them from time to time, then the 3DS might not be for you. The iPad is less portable, but offers live video chat, a better, larger screen along with more space to store pictures and videos, and faster internet connections.
