What's the best DSLR camera and lens for filming at a good price?

I didn't just ask for a camera, I also said lens. And stop correcting me on filming, that's not what I asked and dlsrs are used in filming all the time freddiew uses t2i's and 7d's and stuff sooooo...

First, a DSLR shoots video, not film.

Second, this is almost impossible to answer since "... at a good price." isn't a budget.

In my opinion the Sony SLT a37k with the 18-55mm zoom is your most economical choice. This camera uses Sony's Translucent Mirror Technology which allows for full-time continuous phase-detect auto focus whether you're shooting still images or full 1080p video.

Its shown for $598.00 at B&H - http://www.bhphotovideo.com - but there is a $100.00 'Instant Savings' from B&H that ends 02-09-2013 which makes it $498.00. There simply isn't a Nikon or Canon in that price range that can do what the a37k does. Here is a review:

Okay so i need a little help here. I have a canon rebel t5i, and i really wanted to upgrade to a higher model(or w/e). SO one day i went to sony and i fell in love with their alpha 77. its 1400$ and thats pretty much what im only willing to pay for a camera right now, but my problem is that if im getting my money worth. So i was just wondering if there were any other camera just as good from nikon/canon or better, that i should putt into consideration. I really dont want to spend 1400 $ on just one camera, without looking at others. so yeah, help? lol
