14 megapixel camera 21x zoom image

I want to buy a Nikon Super zoom Camera. But I am confusing between Coolpix L120 and P500. One is with 21x Optical Zoom / 14.1 Mega Pixel / 6400 maximum ISO and another one with 36x Optical Zoom / 12.1 Mega Pixel / 3200 Maximum ISO. Which will better for all purpose and to take some Artistic Photographs with affordable price. Plz suggest. Thank You.

Megapixels only tell how big the picture will be. Zoom X's tell only about how much the lens changes its focal length from its widest angle. It is highly possible to get a much better shot with a lower megapixel camera using a non-zooming lens. It all depends on how much the photographer knows. the camera is only a tool.
Select which is more important to you. If you want excessive zoom, get the 36X. If you value larger pictures, get the 14.1MP. It's just as simple as that.

Kay, so i reallly want a good camera, and since i'm only 14 i don't anything that's too hard to use or really expensive. I love nikon camera's! (: What camera should i get?
