The Nokia 6085 Phone

For starters, the 6085 is a mid-tier quad-band clamshell phone. It's got the typical bells and whistles for a mid-tier phone - Bluetooth, camera, expandable microSD memory, FM radio and music player. However, Nokia has NOT released the specs on the camera - which makes me figure that it probably isn't that impressive.

There's a fairly simple external display on the phone, and the main screen supports up to 262k colors. Note that the external display is one single color: blue.

The 6085 seems very similar to all the clamshell phones that Samsung made famous: semi-budget phones that have some decent features, but no real OOMPH feature that stands out from the crowd. I guess that's why it's priced as it is: 175 Euros ($222 USD) before tax/subsidies. I'm sure we'll start seeing this Nokia phone around as the free mobiles that are given out with 2 year contracts.

Meanwhile, I'm still wondering why Nokia hasn't released any thin sized phones to combat the RAZR. Given what a piece of garbage the RAZR is, a Nokia branded phone even with these features would be a force to consider. And I think it would be quite sad if Apple beat out Nokia to the punch by releasing a thin Smartphone.

The Nokia 6085 will be available in several colors: royal pink, seagull silver, black, and baller gold.

What cellphone should i buy?

Raphael

I'm looking for a cp that is stylish, easy to use, has a good camera/video recording. I don't want iphone or touchscreen type because i already have an itouch. i was thinking of buying blackberry bold but when i saw this nokia with awesome camera, i had second thoughts. browsing is secondary because my itouch can do that for me as well.

My suggestion is u can go in for SONY ERRICSSON types of mobiles as money is not a CONSTRAINT

Sony Ericsson announced another touchscreen handset today: the Aino. A slender slider with a 3-inch touchscreen and numeric keypad, the Aino has an 8.1-megapixel camera, Sony Remote Play support for streaming media from a PS3, GPS, HSPA and a nifty docking station that will also charge the wireless remote.
Sony Ericsson have also announced Media Home, a sync app which pulls media data from a PC to the Aino via WiFi or when docked in the included recharging cradle. As for the wireless remote, that has sound-sensitive LEDs.Sound and vision set free
