I have some money saved up and I'm considering buying an iPad. I'm also throwing around the idea of a macbook pro. Can someone give me a comparison of the two? I'd also like to know the pros and cons of the iPad and Macbook Pro. I would prefer a list if possible. Thanks in advance :D

Pros of ipad 3:
1. Sleek new screen, incredibly refined and mature.
2. A large app and media store, and a 5-megapixel rear camera for 3D photos.
3. Can you please describe both? I want one for my 16th birthday and I can get the second generation, but im wondering is the 3rd one worth the extra money? whats the difference?
