I really need a new camera, and i figure a DSLR would be my best bet but they're so expensive. So i was wondering if the price would go down any on black friday

DSLR prices are pretty static. Instead of actually discounting the camera, retailers will probably bundle up a camera, lens, memory card, bag, and cleaning supplies, and mark the total down by $100 or so.

I am looking to buy a new camera, I don't have enough for an SLR, so just a good quality point and shoot. I take a lot of nature shots, and I use macro a lot. What is the best camera for taking sharp close up pictures?

Go with the Nikon P500, it has great zoom and would take good macro shots. Though i believe that a dSLR would do this job best but for a point and shoot keeping in mind that you are on a budget this is probably the best option. The SX40 is better for image quality but its more expensive. If you can get your hands on the P500 than definitely get it, i'm sure you won't be disappointed. Read this review for it:
