im looking to buy a new camera, at an affordable price. ive gone through cusomer feed backs, and the above mentioned caught my eye. does one one here have feedback about this? im not exactly bright when it comes to shopping for digi cams. lol. also, i price matched it on google, n came up with a few online stores at cheaper prices then circit city. tvsdepot.com, had the best deal, but thier extended warranty prices are out there. (although their promotion now adds a tripod free with purchase.) Basically what im trying to ask over all, since like i stated before, i have never shopped for a camera, is... is this a good buy? is the online supplier recomended? any other suggestions of digital cameras? i want one with good photo quality, good price. thanks...

Fuji has always made a very good, easy to use camera... I've read the info and for under $200 you've chosen a very nice and probably easy to use camera...
Just for a brief overview... the higher the megapixel the larger you can print.. For most people 3 or higher is sufficient.. 10 megapixels are GREAT if you plan on printing poster sizes like 20x30! So, it's NOT a deal breaker if the number isn't HIGH!
The lens is like a 35-105 mm. which is good for many subjects- if you can look for a HIGH optical zoom vs. a HIGH digital zoom....
Inquire at Circuit City and see if they might match price the price you found.. Speak with the manager they might work with you or offer you a package deal.. It wouldn't hurt to ask..
** It's also nice that the battery is a lithium Ion battery you might want to have an extra or spare... Also, an extra SD card... Just a suggestion...
**As for the extended warranty usually it doesn't cover breakage due to dropping...
*** Ritz Camera does have an extended warranty that covers EVERYTHING but, theft/fire! It does cost a bit extra but, if you are accident prone it might not be a bad idea.. However, the camera is under $200 so if you had to buy another it wouldn't be the end the world!
Good luck

highest image quality in a digital camera?
Steven T
what's the highest image quality and resoloution in a digital camera today.
what i mean to say is... which specific camera will produce the highest quality photos in the world?
price doesn't matter, battery life, zoom functions, LCDs, size, weight, compact or very un-compact, and other functions don't matter... i just want to know what is the best image quality photos... like ones you see in art galleries that are blown up to something like 5m x 5m and still look really clear close up...
it doesn't necisarilly mean number of megapixels... although it probably does make a little differance.
for example, you take the phase one P-45 (39mp). it may make very large photos, but will the quality be exellent?? (well yeah, probably, but you see my point)
i think it will probably be something like a Nikon camera, or one of those italian brands, simply because their lenses are so..... amazing.
ISO matters a LITTLE bit, since depending on where you are, it could affect image quality.
color.
**Highest quality and most detailed**

You have some good answers. Add the Nikon D3 to your list and then go out hand try them out. We are assuming that you already are a competent photographer and only want to be able to try and match your results with film with a new generation digital body or back.
BTW: What Italian brands are you talking about .. I know of none?
