I just bought a nikon d60 slr after operating a canon powershot. one of the drawback i find is that the lcd scree cannot be used as a viewfinder. Any particular reason??
Answer
The optical viewfinder offers a better optical quality, important for critical focus and depth of field adjustments.
Also holding the camera to the eye helps brace the camera to help minimise camera shake.
