dslr camera 3200 image
Brooke
I want a regular digital camera that I can use in daily life. I have one now that records videos and sound, but the sound is incredibly screechy when the symbols are played. I want a camera that doesn't rob my bank account and has a good picture with great sound. Also, I want the camera to be able to take good shots without flash. Thanks!
I'm just looking for something simple for a teenager to go to the local venue and record a show for a band, nothing super super fancy.

Unless you are very close to the stage or have press access, you have very little chance of getting quality pictures. Point-and-shoot cameras just don't have enough power to capture in distance and low light. DSLRs, if ever permitted, will be too heavy to keep steady with all the people dancing around you.
Your best chance is to get a camera with the highest ISO rating (3200 or higher), large flash and powered by AA batteries. Load the camera with Energizer Lithiums and bring extras. At the concert, set to the higest ISO, set to low light or flash mode and keep very still as hard as you can. Try to shoot when the people on stage don't move too much and there is plenty of light flooding the stage. Don't forget to bring extra memory cards too.
Good luck with your camera hunting and enjoy the concert.

What is a good quality camera, but not big in size?
Rachel
I want a camera that takes clear shots. But I mainly don't want a camera that too big to carry around.
