I am new to photography. What is the best affordable DSLR camera for a beginner in the current market? My budget is around $500-600.

For the small price, Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera really packs a big punch. It was a no-brainer for me to choose Canon for my first DSLR. Every single camera I've ever owned is a Canon, and I've never been disappointed. This camera is great for the beginner photographer, and even for the more advanced photographer. It's a breeze to learn how to work all of its functions and most importantly, it delivers such amazing quality photos. The kit comes with 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 image stabilization lens. Even with a moderately wide aperture, the lens performs exceptionally well under low-light situations. I will eventually grow out of this lens, but for now it's doing well for me.

I'm saving up for a dslr camera and I've seen some under £500 with a lense included but I think the quailty won't be as good as a £700 one including the lense :L what should I do ?

Dano is correct...Photography is roughly 70% photographer skill/experience, 20% lens quality, and 10% camera body
Both Canon and Nikon make nice cameras. The best thing to do is visit an actual camera shop, like Jessops (not bestbuy/walmart/ASDA) and try the different brands/models within your budget to see which feels the best to YOU. I bought a Canon for its ergonomics/feel/menu and control layout and a fellow photog chose Nikon for the same reason....it is about personal preference.
The one thing to remember is to budget in extra money to cover an extra battery, memory cards, camera case, a USB memory card reader, and taxes (these can add another £130-£160 to the camera price).
Also, most camera shops offer free beginner camera/photography classes (and free prints) when you buy a camera there.
