So I'm switching from windows phone Nokia lumia 710 which has 5mp to iPhone 5 which has 8mp, will I see a clearer and big difference in the pics on the iPhone?
Answer
If you're interested mainly on the photography element of a smartphone, i suggest you go for a Nokia Lumia again but with PureView sensor like the one in 920. Nokia proved its Imaging capabilities to the extent from 5mp to 41mp cam. When it comes to Nokia it doesn't differentiate megapixel ranges, but it focuses greatly on how even a small sensor can take much brilliant pictures on daylight as well as low light @ night.
The difference between 5mp and 8mp camera is,
*pictures will look crisp and clean,
*larger sensor,
*greater point of focus,
*zooming extents,
*better aperture line,
*quality images and videos with greater resolution.
Hope that helps! :)

Is the Nokia Lumina a good phone?
jordan
What are it best features? How many megapixels on the camera? What app-store is it equipped with?I asked my mam for a new phone with a good camera and I think she's considering the Nokia Lumina, the Iphone and the Samsung Galaxy S3,but I think she's leaning for this one
Answer
Simply the best!!!!
Screen. 4.5-inches, the Lumia 920 features a PureMotion HD+ display which Nokia boldly claims is the brightest display on the planet
Camera. 8.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with Nokia PureView and Carl Zeiss optics will be able to deliver clear, bright images using floating lens technology and an F2.0 aperture that lets in five times more light than its smartphone compatriots, all without the need for a flash. Itâs also worth mentioning that advanced optical image stabilization will also help reduce those blurry pics
Nokia Maps and City Lens. Nokia Maps, Drive and Transport will be available on the Lumia 920 with a few new features. Nokia Maps now has access to offline mapping content while Nokia Drive now features a voice guided satnav. City Lens augmented browser will display real-time information overlaid onto shops and restaurants as you walk past them on the high street.
Wireless charging, 32GB, 7GB of free SkyDrive storage.
