Overseas they offer phones with 7 megapixels! What's the deal, why don't we have these phones?
What bothers me is that it's not that we're behind. That problem doesn't exist, because The United States doesn't manufacture any cell phones. ALL of our phones are from over-seas. They choose what to release for our carriers to sell. It's ridiculous.

When I last checked, Verizon Wireless carries only one phone w/ a camera w/ higher res than 1.3 Mpxl, and that's the Samsung a990 (3.0 Mpxl). It's pricey, even w/ rebates and New Every Two applied.

I think that most US consumers are still trying to figure out that their cellphone can make phone calls and do txt msgs. Only a few people care about what you talk about. Besides, a lot of people already have digital cameras that support high res, so the market for cameraphones w/ such high res, and the technology to support it, is still a ways off in the US.

It still comes down to the carriers making money off the largest group of people, while enticing the bleeding edge types w/ high-tech stuff. The bleeding edge crowd will have to wait, but probably not for long.

Ok, I get to get a new upgrade for my phone, yay! And I can get any phone I want cause our plan allows it, but Im really confused at which phones I want. I love to text and I really love music, but Im not sure I want music on my phone, but I still want the option. I also want one that you can record your own ringtones. Can anyone give me some good suggestions? Oh, and I have to choose a phone carried by Verizon. I would really appreciate it, thanx! : )

Sad that an andriod is out because HTC came out with the Droid Incredible, which has a whopping 8MP camera.

I would recommend the LG chocolate TOUCH. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera and cost less than $30. It's a pretty easy to use phone, inexpensive with a high-quality camera for a feature phone (it's not a smartphone). My grandma has one similar to it. It has a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Verizon.

Every service they put onto or upgrade someone's contract a percentage of the billings is given to non profit organizations to fund their programs. E-mail her at kaiden4@aol.com her name is Tiffany. Hi, I have had the chance to get to mess around with the LG enV and personally I like it. I was deciding on that phone and the one I got the LG 9400 (for the tv) but that was my second choice. It is really good if you like the QWERTY style of buttons to text. Verizon now has the enV in Orange that has everything you love about the current enV including being ready to use with EVâDO highâspeed technology, V CAST, VZNavigator, Wireless Sync, a Bluetooth stereo headset, and it includes a 2.0 megapixel camera/camcorder and an external memory port. A shortcut key has been added so you can access assigned menus, and two demo games have been preloaded for extra entertainment. Hopefully you like it and I hope I was able to help you and good luck.
