I was just curious what is the next model after the Samsung A990 for verizon wireless.

Answer
The a990 is the top of its series for Samsung phones, but the newest-latest-greatest is the Samsung u620. It does everything the 990 does (except the camera is 2.0 megapixels, not 3.2) but it is capable of Mobile TV, the live TV service.

What is the best cell phone currently available in the USA?

SuperPlex

I am interested in learning your opinion about the best mobile phone available in the USA. Please tell me the name and manufacturer and the following: a) if you personally own it; b) if you have used it; c) which carrier it is available from; d) the reasons why you like it. Do you like the voice quality, the signal strength, the size and form factor, the battery life, the weight, the design, the special features, the multimedia options?
Note: this question is *not* about carriers. Just phones. I am aware that Verizon & Sprint's networks rely on CDMA technology that does not interoperate with the GSM networks managed by Cingular/AT&T and T-Mobile.

Answer
For music players, the chocolate is hands-down the best. Yes, i have owned it and only for Verizon.

Best camera/camcorder, Samsung A990 which I have tested for Verizon. It is the best camera phone upon the market for resolution with 3.2 megapixel and hook up to the tv & record up to an hour of time as well as playback. Very nice!

Best PDA, Samsung I830 for Verizon which is a music compliant for mp3 & GLOBAL phone for CDMA & GSM... Oh so cool to have as well anywhere in the world.

Can I sell my Verizon Wireless phone on eBay?

Jeremy E

I am a Verizon Wireless customer, and I recently bought a new phone. My old phone, the Samsung A990, seems to fetch a pretty good price on eBay and I'm wondering if I can sell it. I talked to Verizon and they said that I could, but that I'd have to sell it to another Verizon customer, as the phone can't be used on another network. Does this seem in line with what you know? Thanks!

Answer
just make sure ur phone is deactivated and also make sure the phone isnt under ur account and thats it. the other people are wrong because u cant unlock a cdma phone (sprint and verizon phones), you only can flash them and use the same network. They dont use sim cards. while gsm phones (t-mobile and cingular) use sim cards and u can unlock those, but to anwser ur question u are able to sell it to anyone on Ebay. Its really up to them on when and what they want to use it for. The guy above has no clue on what he was talking about. You dont have to sell it to a Verizon customer. Any ESN (Electronic Serial Number) is able to be activated on Pre-Paid. i.e. Page Plus. So put it on Ebay and get as much as you can. Your 990 has a 3.2 Megapixel camera. Its the best around besides the unlocked Nokia's. You can sell it for an easy 200 if its in good condition.
