Is it possible to restore a camera quality on a macbook?

Q. I haven't used my camera in a while, and when i opened it up, it was all grainy. It didnt have that smooth picture look.

Is their anyway i can restore the camera so the grainy look can be clear again?

Dont bother updating or messing with it, most laptops come with 1.3 megapixel or 2.0 megapixel camera's, regardless its going to be choppy and grainy.

Why bother putting yourself through all of that, besides you can use an external camera on a different computer when you upgrade.

I am very curious about the megapixel of all of the latest iSight camera implemented in all the latest Mac, such as Macbook, Macbook pro and the LED Display, anyone know about this? I can't find the specification on the Apple website.
