which phone has the best camera?

helpOntheW

Im technology retarded at 24 years old so i need some help. I have a crappy phone and no camera. Im looking to upgrade both of those options in my life. Which smart phone out there has the best camera option on it. Is the Iphone the best one? Don't care about the cash or whatever just need a good phone/camera. THANKS!

Answer
The best camera on a phone is the Nokia Pureview 808, hands down. Don't be fooled by the 41 megapixel label, it uses pixel sampling to create very detailed, low-noise photos in 5mp or 8mp mode. This also allows you to zoom without making picture quality worse. There's also a 41mp mode, but you probably don't need to make billboard-sized prints. Megapixels do not equal image quality.

The Pureview 808 is thicker than many other current phones. The camera makes it look look Quasimodo with a bulge in the back. The camera is fantastic but it may not be a good performer in all areas.

Here's a (somewhat controversial) review. You can see some sample pictures too.

The iPhone has a decent camera. Some more information would be helpful. What do you want to use the phone for, besides photography? Do you have other preferences, like size, price, battery life or lots of storage? Are you chained to a particular mobile carrier? Try going into a shop that sells phones and see how differently sized phones feel in your hand. Many range from 3.5" (iPhone) to 5" (Samsung Galaxy Note II). Some are smaller. You can also ask to try some working models (not fake display ones), to see if they're easy and pleasant to use.

Cell phones! Please answer!!!?

I need some ideas on what kind of phone to get.
Thanks in advance! :)

Best camera mobile phone? need some advise..?

Zaire

Just one quick question. In your case, what would be the best mega-pixelized camera mobile phone? Please be more specific since i want to consider the following features:

(1) an awesomely cool camera that avoids blurriness due to shaky hands;
(2) user friendly; and
(3) totally fashionable, nice to look at..=)

And please don't give me any Nokia models and Motorola ones. NO OFFENSE to anyone. Don't get me wrong 4 out of 6 people in my house use these models. BOTH of them are great but it's not what I'm looking for.
Hell, I'm using Nokia n70 as of the moment; last year I had a Motorola RAZR, the Pink one(it really looks adorable), but I passed it on to my lil' sister . So again, no offense to those users.=) I like all kinds of models but i just wanna be more specific.=)

Answer
SonyEricsson k800i (k790a). First 3.2 megapixel phone (what they proclaim), it has this camera function called "BestPic", it takes 9 pictures of what you are taking and after you select your best picture. It's exactly like a regular digital camera plus a phone together. It has xenon flast (this is the best! in my p.o.v.), you can take pictures in the dark and you can still see your face very clearly as if light is on, or taking a picture of a dark room everything shows up after! Imagestablizer (spelling?) prevents most shaky hands. Bluetooth is awesome! you can send your awesome pictures to friends using bluetooth. It has fm radio too~! There are free games you can download from the SonyEricsson mobile website, and the games are very good, 3D tennis. There is a James Bond Version, i think it has some relation to the movie O_o'', If it was in the movie then it has to be good looking. More info on their website listed on the sourced below.

OMFG ITS A GOD PHONE *bows down*

Tip is when you are buying from wireless companies such as rogers, they might put their logo ontop of the words "CyberShot" and ruin the whole phone!

You can try the phone itself on the 1st website listed below, at their phone simulator.

how is the nokia 6303i?

vinoth

Answer
Excellent it is.

Not as fast in terms of responsiveness to other phones, but the battery life is AMAZING. The camera has been downgraded compared to the original 6303, but still, the original's camera is nothing to write home about either.

Well, anyway, here are the basics of the phone.

Key features:

Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
2.2" 16M-color QVGA display with excellent sunlight legibility
3 megapixel camera, fixed-focus and LED flash
QVGA video recording at 8fps
Refreshed S40 user interface, 6th edition
Stereo FM radio with RDS
Bluetooth (with A2DP) and microUSB port
microSD card slot (16 GB supported, 2GB included)
Standard 3.5mm audio jack
Rich preinstalled application package
Ovi Maps, Store, Contacts and Share
Solid metal casing, nice oval shapes
Web browser is WebKit-based and plays YouTube video
Respectable BL-5CT battery (Li-Ion 1050 mAh)

Main disadvantages:

No 3G
Memory card slot under the back cover
Below par camera image quality
No smart dialing
No multi-tasking of any sort
No office document viewer

Personally, I'd say it is one of the best in it's price range.

What cingular phone is the best in your opinion?

Shanequa

I have cingular. And i need a new phone. Just wanting the opinion of anyone who has a cingular phone that they really like and why?

Answer
I just answered another question like this, so we'll do it again!

First off it depends on the kind of phone you want. So lets start simple.

If you're only interested in the basics i would probably suggest the nokia 6126. Very simple basic flip phone that has a button on the side to auto-open. Kinda cool. It does have bluetooth and will hold a microSD up to 2 gig. Also it does have a basic vga camera, and you can use the music on your card as ringtones.

If you want a little more, i'd say check out the Samsung A517 (Lion) nice sporty flip phone, all the stats that the nokia has, but its got a 1.3 mega pixel camera.

For the slider style phone, i'd recommend the Sony w580. Cool slide phone comes in multiple colors and comes with everything in the box, headphones, memory card and everything. Bearing a 2 MP camera with zoom and video capabilities, its something a little different.

Lets get into the big boys now.

If you want something with a, "my phone does everything" style, check these out.

First off, HTC Tilt is a new pocket pc (PPC) that is armed to the teeth. Full touch screen running windows mobile 6, its equipped with word mobile, excel mobile, powerpoint moble internet explorer 7, windows media player 10, a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, and the ability to do just about every cool thing you can think of. Its extremely flexible, and everything can be customized on it. Neat little things about this one include a full 3 megapixel camera, ability to store a 4gig microSD card, and the coolest thing ever, a full tilting screen so you can really use it like a laptop. Quite possibly one of the coolest phones i've ever seen. Oh, did i mention it has Wi-Fi? Yeah, thats right... Wi-Fi...

Of course if you're not quite wanting to go that far you can do something like the Blackjack. Not quite as powerful as the Tilt, it still has the Windows Mobile 5 OS, and works pretty good. This one is more of a blackberry style phone with the full keyboard on the front. It does take advantage of a click wheel on the side of the phone to make navigation easier. 1.3 megapixel camera and a memory card capacity of 2 gig make this phone a good first PDA phone.

I'll end on the newest addition of Smartphones (PPC and regular phone combined). The Pantech Duo. The Duo supplies you with a Dual-Slide, Dual-Keyboard Windows Mobile 6 all out assult. I cant even begin to get into what all this one can do so i'll say go to www.phonescoop.com and find it. You really do have to see this one for yourself.

Hope this helps you out!
